lyrics
My world is gone,
Devastated and empty of people...
...so quiet.
Not a word,
Not a single sound has been uttered.
I was left behind, all alone.
How will I face this?
Will I find my path again?
Screaming,
I try to break the silence,
No one's there to hear me.
Hunting for a sign of life and I am
Running,
Searching for an answer,
Looking for a haven.
Will I find a way out?
Will I find a home?
My world is silent and so cold,
Devoid of life and joy.
I thought I heard voices, far away.
Were they real or just a lie?
Is my life a lie?
Can I break the silence?
Where are all the people?
Will I find my way home?
I will live my life!
I will break the silence!
I will find the people!
I will find my way home!
As I’ve matured I have learned to appreciate power metal. The sheer symphonic showmanship of the tracks I heard is totally off the charts. WaitingfortheTurningPoint
Spanish Symphonic Power Metal Band Eternal Dream falls into the Operatic Female Vocals category that a lot of Euro bands employ.
The music however is propelled by strong power chords and virtuoso guitar soloing not unlike Rhapsody (of Fire) & Stratovarius and similar bands of their ilk employ.
Ana Moronta's vocals don't overpower the songs like so many "operatic" singers try to do in similar bands.
Imagine "Phantom of the Opera" Chanteuse - Sarah Brightman fronting a power metal band. Agent K
A very, VERY powerful album, somewhere between symphonic/melodic/oriental rock and death metal like vocals and riffs.
Incredible how many different elements are interwoven into a perfectly intriguing and highly energetic song mix! Martin R
